Congress is Using the Budget Reconciliation Process to Pass Coronavirus Relief Legislation

Currently, the House and Senate are going through the budget reconciliation process to pass a broad coronavirus relief package. The whole package is expected to cost $1.9 trillion. This would include $350.7 billion for state and local aid and $1,400 stimulus checks for some families. In the coming weeks, the House expects to pass its package and send it to the Senate for consideration.
